This retreat is an invitation to pause.

Held in the stillness of the mountains, the Bir Healing Retreat offers space to slow down, soften the body, and listen inward. The days are intentionally unhurried, allowing movement, creativity, and rest to unfold naturally.

This is not a retreat to fix or push.
It is a space to arrive, breathe, and be.

Thursday — Arriving
Arrival, settling in, opening circle, and gentle yoga to ground into the space.

Friday — Grounding
Yoga and breathwork, creative clay practice, rest, and an optional nature walk.

Saturday — Expression
Morning practice, art therapy through painting, reflection, and a closing candle circle.

Sunday — Integration
Final yoga and breath practice, closing circle, and departure by noon.

Mandala Santuary, Bir

The retreat is hosted at Mandala Sanctuary, a serene mountain stay in the ChauGan area of Bir. Surrounded by nature and open skies, the space offers quiet surroundings, garden views, and a calm setting ideal for rest and reflection.

  • Twin sharing rooms (limited triple sharing)

  • Private rooms available on request

  • 9 freshly prepared vegetarian meals included

Bir is well-connected and can be reached comfortably by road and air.

By Air

  • Nearest airport: Kangra (Dharamshala) Airport – approx. 65 km

  • Taxis are easily available from the airport to Bir

By Train

  • Nearest major railway station: Pathankot

  • From Pathankot, taxis and buses connect to Bir (approx. 5–6 hours)

By Road

  • Overnight Volvo buses run from Delhi and Chandigarh to Bir / Baijnath

  • Private taxis are also available from nearby towns

Detailed travel guidance will be shared with confirmed participants.

Explore Around Bir (Optional)

For those who wish to arrive earlier or stay longer, Bir offers gentle ways to explore nature and culture at your own pace.

Nearby experiences include:

  • Bir–Billing valley walks and viewpoints

  • Short nature hikes around the village

  • Tibetan monasteries and quiet cafés

  • Paragliding take-off sites (for viewing, not required participation)

  • Slow days at nearby villages and forest paths

These are optional and self-guided.
The retreat itself does not include sightseeing or adventure activities.
